Wedding February 2013
An elegant evening started with guests being treated to a visual art feast upon arrival! A ribboned chandelier composed of hues of pinks highlighted My Caterer’s in house designer Arlene Rotfelds tablescape. A gathering of tall vases of lemons, bright fuchsia azalea topiaries, fuchsia weeping Manivilla plants and an Alessi silver bowl of oranges. Guests sipped mint iced tea and raspberry bellinis before cocktail hour and the main event!

My Caterer’s legendary sophisticated stationary display at cocktail hour always has something for everyone to partake in! A plethora of Tuscan fare of mozzarella and garlic infused in warm brioche bread, black olive tapeneade, vine ripened tomatoes topping for an authentic bruschetta with toasted crustades on the side. Passed butler small bites artistically presented, and Grazing Stations resulted in a wonderful Cocktail Hour.
Soiree at RAW in Reading March 2013
My Caterer, the preferred caterer at the whimsical voluminous art space in Reading, Pennsylvania, hosted a soiree for the best in the wedding industry. RAW was a blank canvas for set ups of the best in table top and cuisine presentation. Passed small bites presented on artist palettes, Stretched canvas and paint brush boxes held gazpacho shooters, peppercorn tuna on wonton chips topped with wasabi and other delicious offerings. Table composed of a white birdcage filled with ivy weaving onto the 2 vases of large white hydrangeas and votive candles on top of crinkled white linen complimented the room. My Caterer is a kosher caterer that offers scrumptious fare, tabletop design, fine linens, excellent staff and an on site wedding planner.

A early Indian summer picnic theme was the brides wish so My Caterer did just that! A grass green pleated linen as the base had wheat grass boxes topped with pop art big gerbera daisies and a gathering of fresh picked strawberries and grapes strewn onto the display. Napkins were tied with ivy and large Driscoll strawberries were placed on each. The menu consisted of picnic hamper buffet of French sandwiches on baguettes wrapped in parchment paper, assorted fine French cheeses adorned with champagne grapes and figs, gherkins and grainy mustard. Large salads of goat cheese, greens and chevre and fresh sliced late summer peaches, corn and tomato salad and grilled summer vegetables. Three tier fresh whipped strawberry shortcake wedding cake and fruit kebobs in mint was the refreshing desserts. My Caterer combines theme in table design and cuisine for a perfect paring.

Crimson red and gold were the colors of the 15 tables that were placed in three separate rooms at the stunning Cairnwood estate. Amongst the mantels and wainscoting and key molding of each room, the tables were coordinated to look like royal. Swank vases filled with the perfect red rose and a gathering of red rose petals, gold chivari chairs and gold sashes were implemented by the My Caterer staff. Continuing the theme were gold chargers with red roses and a myriad of small bites. Dinner of Tilapia served vertically over risotto studded with pine nuts or Tuscan Chicken filled with spinach, fontina cheese on top of mashed mashed potatoes were beautifully plated by our in house chef and team. Even the children were treated royally to their own plates of children friendly panko chicken fingers (Adults were eating these as well from the kids plates!), glass jars filled with assorted chocolates and a demi tasse cup of Peruvian chocolate were passed with edible cookie straws. A regal affair!
Whyy Cocktail Event
Whyy event had 250 visitors to Philadelphia and were treated to a farewell buffet that made all content before traveling back to Boston, Virginia, and NYC! A tall vase of Cherry Blossoms and pears complimented a heavily laden table of silver chafers filled with crab cakes, raspberry phillo dough bites, spanikopita triangles, chicken satays, humus, crudite platters, lavish displays of spreads and assorted breads. Dessert of freshly brewed coffee, large baklava and lemon cheesecakes were happily received by guests. My Caterer implements both social and corporate events.
Ultra lit an exciting nite club in Center City Philadelphia was the backdrop of a corporate cocktail party event hosted by HRO Forum. Tuxedoed wait staff passed a variety of bites: lollipop sesame encrusted lamb chops, gazpacho shooters, mini mac and cheese in individual ramekins, vegetable spring rolls and crab cakes with a mustard aioli. All presented on hand blown glass trays, adorned with edible flowers. High tops of silver crinkle lame and silver high top chivari chairs made the crowd of 150 comfortable. Special drinks at the bar were composed for the event. Martini glasses of berries drizzled with sugar and mint, chocolate chocolate shooters with whipped cream and chocolate shavings and lemon sorbet was a delightful ending. My Caterer created a sophisticated ambiance.
